Description

No 15 on West Street is a small, low two-storey house dating from the 17th century. It features a steep old stone slate roof and stone chimney stacks. There is a carriageway at the west end that reaches full height to the eaves, providing access to Turner's Yard. The house has a late 19th-century shop window and a low early door. The windows are 18th-century sash, with two on the first floor that break the eaves. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 5 to 19 (odd), 25, and 33 to 53 (odd), along with the Church of St Wilfred, Paine's Almshouses, and Oundle Congregational Church.
