Description
The Ship Guest House is a small, low two-storey house, likely built in the late 17th century. It features a gabled roof covered with stone slates and has high verges, along with two late brick chimney stacks. The building has two widely spaced windows on both floors, and on the ground floor, there are two canted three-light bay windows. All the windows are hung sashes with glazing bars. The entrance has a low, plain doorway with double doors that consist of four panels, now mostly glass, with the centre pane of the right bay missing. The Ship Guest House is part of a group that includes Nos 2 to 36 (even) and 42 to 46A (even) and 52 to 98 (even).
