Description
Manor Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse located on North Street in Mears Ashby. It is constructed from regularly coursed lias and ironstone, topped with a slate roof. The building originally had a two-unit plan and features two storeys with an attic. The front has a three-window range of 20th-century casements set in original openings beneath wooden lintels. A central 20th-century door is framed by a 19th-century moulded wood surround with a flat hood above. The house has a pair of gabled roof dormers, ashlar gable parapets, and kneelers, along with brick stacks at the ridge and ends. There is a 19th-century extension at the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
