Description

Church House is a farmhouse, later converted into a house, dated 1735 as evidenced by the datestone TGW/1735. The building is constructed of squared coursed lias stone with a slate roof. It originally had a two-unit plan. The house is two storeys with an attic, and has a three-window front. The windows are casements with glazing bars; those to the left of the centre are narrow single-light windows, all set beneath wooden lintels. A 20th-century stone porch with a panelled door has been added to the right of the centre. The roof has a pair of gabled dormers. The gables have ashlar parapets, and there are stone stacks at the ends of the building. A datestone is located above the porch. An early 19th century two-storey, two-window range is attached to the right. The interior has not been inspected.
