Description

No. 15 Bakehouse Lane is a house dated 1722. It is constructed of regularly coursed lias stone with a corrugated metal roof. The house originally had a two-unit plan and stands two storeys high with an attic. It features a one-window range with a casement that has glazing bars. There is a 20th-century glazed porch and a brick stack at the ridge. The datestone is located in the gable to the right, which has a 19th-century attic casement below it. At the rear, there is a mid-18th-century wing that is similar in style. The interior has not been inspected but is reported to have ceiling beams, the remains of a blocked open fireplace, and the original roof structure.
