Description
This summerhouse, located approximately 50 meters southeast of Mears Ashby Hall, dates from the early 18th century. It is constructed of squared coursed lias stone and features a plain-tile roof. The building has a single-unit square plan and stands two stories tall. The first floor has a central door opening with plain stone architraves, flanked by sash window openings on either side. The ground floor entrance has a shallow arched head. The structure is topped with a conical roof and includes an external stone stair. Although the interior was not inspected, it is noted that the first-floor room has panelling.
