Description

This is a late 18th-century house, dated 1788. It is built of squared coursed limestone and has an asbestos slate roof. Originally designed with a two-unit plan, the house now has a three-window front. The windows are 20th-century casements set in original openings, each with a 19th-century wood lintel and ashlar surround. A central door with six panels is also topped by a wood lintel. The house features ashlar gable parapets and brick stacks at each end. A datestone is set into the left gable. Although the interior was not inspected, it is noted to contain panelled window reveals and spine beams with run-out stops.
