Description
This pair of houses, built in the early 19th century for the Brudenell family of Deene Hall, is located on the north side of Benefield Road. They are constructed of squared coursed limestone and topped with a Collyweston slate roof. The houses have single-unit plans that include a scullery and rise to two storeys. The front features a four-window range of 19th-century casements set beneath shallow stone arches. There is a 19th-century door on the top left and a 20th-century door on the far right, both positioned under similar stone heads. The hipped roof has wide eaves and a central brick stack that has been rebuilt. At the rear, there is a small single-storey range. The interiors have not been inspected.
