Description

A pair of houses built in the early 19th century, originally for the Brudenell family of Deene Hall. The houses are constructed of squared coursed limestone with a Collyweston slate roof. They were originally designed with single-room plans and a scullery. The houses are two storeys high and feature a four-window front with 19th-century style casement windows set beneath shallow stone arches. There are 20th-century part-glazed doors to the far left and right, also under stone arches. The roof is hipped with wide eaves and a central stone stack. A further two 20th-century windows are present on the right-hand elevation. A small, single-storey range extends to the rear. The interiors have not been inspected. The houses are included on the list for their group value.
