Description

Poplar Barn is a barn dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of regularly coursed limestone and features a plain-tile roof. The barn is a single-unit structure with three bays, and it has central cart entrances that are topped with wooden lintels; the entrance on the south side is partially blocked. The gable ends have ashlar parapets and kneelers, as well as owl holes. Inside, the roof structure retains its original trusses and purlins.
