Description
This complex includes a barn, cartsheds, stables, and outbuildings located approximately 40 meters northeast and west of Church Farmhouse. The buildings date from the late 17th century, as indicated by a datestone, but are primarily from the late 18th and 19th centuries. They are constructed from squared coursed limestone and brick, topped with slate roofs, and are arranged around a courtyard. The late 18th century barn is a single unit with two projecting gables on the left and features a central cart entrance. There is a datestone, likely reset, in the center gable. To the right, an 8-bay range of 19th century cartsheds has a brick arcade that connects to a range of 19th century stables, which includes some stable doors set under gauged stone arches. In the center of the courtyard, 19th century outbuildings are attached to the main range by a wall.
