Description
Yolsum Farmhouse is a house dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. It is constructed of witchert, which is colourwashed and roughcast on a rubble plinth, with an 18th-century brick gable on the north side above a band. The roof is covered with old tiles. The main entrance features a central six-panel door beneath a small flat hood supported by a projecting doorcase with trellis sides. The house has 19th-century sash windows in plain cement frames; the left-hand ground floor window has five panes, while the right-hand window has four panes. The outer bays on the first floor contain four-pane sashes, and the centre has a two-pane sash. The house has a central stack and follows a lobby-entry plan. At the rear, there is a two-storey, two-bay wing made of rubblestone with a slate roof.
