Description

Mount Cottage, located in Denham Mount, is an early 19th-century building that was originally an altered stable block. It is designed in a U-shape and consists of one storey. The structure is made of stock brick and features a slate roof with hipped ends over the projections of the U. There are three carriage entrances, each with double boarded doors. The right-hand projection of the U has been converted into a cottage, while the carriage entrance of the left-hand projection is reflected in the design as a bricked-in recess with a 2-light casement window.
