Description

No. 59 is a house dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the mid to late 18th century. The front is covered in colourwashed roughcast, while the gables are rendered. It has an old tile roof and features two large square brick chimneys, both of which have been rebuilt. The house is two storeys high and consists of five bays. The windows are 4-pane sashes set in wooden architrave frames. The centre bay has a blind painted window on the first floor, and there is a flush-panelled door below, also framed with an architrave and topped with a stone voussoir head. Inside, the interior reveals a timber frame in the right gable and part of the rear wall.
