Description

This is a house dating from the 17th century, with extensions from the 18th century and subsequent alterations. It is timber-framed with whitewashed brick infill upon a whitewashed rubble stone base. The timber frame of the left bay is of a slightly smaller size. The rear wall is of whitewashed rubble stone and brick. The roof is thatched, with a hipped section on the left and a half-hipped section on the right. A rebuilt brick chimney is situated between the right bays. The house has one and a half storeys and three bays. The right bays have 20th-century three-light leaded casement windows on the ground floor, and three two-light windows set within the thatch. A central 20th-century door is present. A board door is found in the left bay.
