Description
This is a house dating from the late 16th to early 17th century, with later alterations. It is built with a timber frame, now covered with colourwashed roughcast, and has a 20th-century tile roof and a 20th-century brick chimney near the gable. The house is two storeys high and has two bays, with a gable facing the street. It has wooden casement windows: two single-light windows on the ground floor and two paired casements in the gable. A door is set within a wooden architrave frame towards the left end of the wall. A 20th-century lean-to has been added to the remainder of the left side. The interior displays heavy timbering, including slightly curved braces and wind-braces. A chamfered spine beam is visible in the main ground floor room, and the fireplace has been altered.
