Description
Diffords Kitchen is a house with a shop located at 1 King's Stores in Cuddington. It dates back to the 17th century and has undergone some alterations. The building is constructed from rubblestone with brick dressings, and the left gable bay is rendered and colourwashed, while the right flank elevation is also rendered. It features old tile roofs and stands two storeys tall with two irregular bays. The left bay has a modern shopfront with a tiled lean-to roof, and a three-light casement window is positioned off centre on the first floor. The gable is topped with a brick coping. The right bay contains a three-light casement window set under a segmental arch and has a gable stack. The side elevation displays two gables, irregular casements, and a central six-panel door with a bracket hood. The brick gables are complemented by cast iron spearhead railings in the front garden.
