Description

The property is a house, dating to the 17th century, with alterations and extensions from the 19th century. The original left-hand range is gabled towards the street and has a timber frame with curved braces and brick infill to the first floor of the near bay. The ground floor front and far bay were rebuilt in brick during the 19th century. The roof is tiled, with a rebuilt brick chimney in the centre of the original range. The gable end has a 20th-century three-pane sash window to the first floor, and a canted bay window below. The house now includes one bay of a 19th-century range to the right, which is built of brown brick with a slate roof. The 19th-century bay has a four-pane sash window to the first floor, and a matching canted bay window to the ground floor. The bay windows are linked by a flat roof that forms a hood over a central six-panelled, top-lit door.
