Description

This is a late 19th-century house, likely remodelled from an earlier building, possibly dating back to the 17th century. The front of the building has a rendered ground floor and roughcast upper portion with half-timbering. The left gable is constructed of brick. It has a 20th-century tile roof and 19th-century brick chimneys located to the right and between the left bays. The house is two storeys high with an attic, and has three bays. It features late 19th-century wooden casement windows; a two-light window is on the ground floor to the left, while the remaining windows are three-light. There are board doors to the left of the range and to the right of the central bay, with a flush panelled door to the left of the right bay. Two doors to the right are sheltered by a tiled lean-to hood supported on shaped brackets. Rendered panels in the centre of the first floor contain incised portraits of Queen Victoria, dated 1837 and 1897, commemorating her Jubilee. The interior was not inspected. The property is included in the listing primarily for its group value.
