Description
King's Head Cottage is a small house dating from the 17th century, which has been altered over time. It features a timber frame with whitewashed brick infill on the first floor, while the ground floor and most of the bay closest to the road have been rebuilt in brick and whitewashed. The cottage has a half-hipped thatch roof and a central brick chimney that has been rebuilt. It is 1½ storeys tall and consists of two bays. The windows are wooden casements with single horizontal glazing bars, with a three-light window on the left side of the ground floor and a two-light window on the right side, both set in thatch. There is a central lobby entry with a 20th-century door. To the left end, there is a tiled lean-to with a small brick chimney.
