Description

This small pumping station, built around 1838 to 1841, is located to the west of Bridge Number 121 on the Grand Union Canal in Ivinghoe. It is constructed of brown brick and features offset eaves along with a hipped slate roof. The canal-facing side has a boarded door topped with a semi-circular radiating fanlight. On the north side, there is an arched window opening that is currently boarded up.
