Description

Bridge number 121 on the Grand Union Canal is a canal bridge built around 1839. It is constructed from red and brown brick, featuring a band course and segmental brick coping along the parapet. The bridge has brick end piers and two depressed arches, with the western arch originally intended to cross a narrow duplicate lock. The northern parapet extends to the east and steps down between square piers topped with pyramidal coping stones.
