Description

Bridge Number 1 over the Grand Union Canal Aylesbury Arm was built around 1811 to 1814. It is constructed from red and blue brick with slobbered rendering, featuring a rendered arch and soffit. The parapet on the northwest side has been rebuilt in yellow brick and includes a wide band course with segmental brick coping. The bridge has square end piers and a single semi-circular arch.
