Description

"Thatch" is a former cottage located on the south side of Toweridge Common, approximately 200 yards northwest of Druid's Hut. The building dates from the 18th century or earlier and features a timber frame with colour washed brick nogging. Its thatched roof slopes down at both ends over the doorways. The cottage has two lattice casement windows and was previously known as The Hermitage.
