Description

Hope Cottage is a cottage located on Winsor Road, dating from the 17th century but altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. It features a timber-frame structure with painted brick infill and a thatched roof. The building is single storey with an attic and consists of two bays. The front has a plank door to the left of centre, a four-pane casement window to the left, and a two-light casement window to the right. Above the door, there is a tall two-light eyebrow dormer. The roof is hipped to the right and half-hipped to the left, with a ridge stack over the right bay.
