Description

The Temple of Bacchus, located in West Wycombe Park, is an 18th-century structure, possibly designed by Robert Adam. It features a stucco exterior set on a stone base. The entrance is accessed by steps that are flanked by lead sphinxes. The building has a pediment supported by Roman Doric pilasters and includes a round-headed arch leading to an alcove that houses a statue of Flora on a pedestal. Inside, the barrel vault is adorned with a stucco flower garland.
