Description
March Cottage is a cottage dating from the 18th century, with some alterations from the 19th and 20th centuries. It has a roughcast exterior and a thatched roof, featuring two brick ridge stacks. The building is two storeys high and consists of two bays, with two-light casements that include horizontal glazing bars. The central entrance has a 20th-century half-glazed door and is sheltered by a rustic porch topped with a thatched bonnet hood. Inside, the ground floor has two rooms combined into one, and there is a small fireplace with a wooden bressumer. The cottage serves as a notable feature along the roadside.
