Description
This house, now divided into two dwellings, likely originated in the 16th and 17th centuries, with a 20th-century alteration. The exterior is roughcast and features a shingled roof and two brick stacks. The building is single-storey with an attic, and originally comprised three bays, displaying casement windows with horizontal glazing bars. The eaves rise to form eyebrows over the first-floor windows. Two door openings are present, with a plank door leading to a hipped timber porch on the left side. Inside, a doorway is framed by a plain, chamfered surround with a peaked head. The roof is believed to be of cruck construction, and original ceiling beams remain.
