Description

Chantry Cottage, located at Tylers Hill, is a 17th-century building that has been altered and enlarged over time. The ground floor is constructed of red and grey brick, which is partly whitewashed, while the first floor features a timber frame with pebble dash infilling. The cottage has a tiled roof and a tile-hung gable on the west side. It stands two storeys tall and includes two flush casement windows with glazing bars. The property at No. 83 has a gabled closed porch and a modern wing added to the northeast, while No. 85 features a large modern wing on the east side.
