Description

Thimble Cottage, located at No 50 on West Street, is a 17th-century building. It has two storeys and features a timber frame with a rendered brick front. There is a string course at the first-floor level and a small bracketed cornice. The roof is covered with old tiles. The cottage has two irregular casement windows and a door located at the side. Thimble Cottage is part of a group that includes No 36 and Nos 42 to 50 (even) along with Queen Cottage.
