Description

Queen Cottage is an 18th-century building of two storeys and two windows, constructed of brick. It forms the end of a row of cottages located on the north-west side of West Street, and adjoins numbers 4, 6, and 8 Quoiting Square. A plain door with a slim projecting hood is situated to the right of centre. To the right of the door is a wide sliding casement window, and to the left, a segmental arched window with a modern leaded casement. The first floor features three-light casement windows. The roof is hipped and covered with old tiles. Queen Cottage, together with numbers 36 and 42 to 50 (even), forms a group.
