Description
Hollybush Farmhouse is a late medieval building with alterations dating from the 16th century. It features whitewashed pebbledash and an old tiled roof with end gablets. The structure consists of four bays, with one bay added to either end. Originally a single storey hall house, it has been raised to two storeys and includes a central chimneystack from the 16th or early 17th century. Inside, there are two bressumers on the ground floor and four main casement windows with glazing bars and pointed arched lights. The timber frame includes large tie beams with curved braces and wind braces in the roof truss. There is also a modern ground floor bay window on the left that is in keeping with the overall style.
