Description
Morlands Farmhouse is a house that may date back to the 17th century but was rebuilt in the mid-18th century and altered in the 20th century. It is constructed of colourwashed brick and features a first-floor band course. The roof is made of old tiles, and there is a central brick chimney. The building has a T-plan layout, is two storeys tall with an attic, and consists of two bays. The ground floor has 20th-century canted bay windows with leaded lights, while the upper floor has sash windows. There is a blind roundel in the center of the first floor above a blocked doorway. A door is located in a 20th-century pedimented doorcase on the right side of the rear wing. Additionally, there is a 20th-century staircase projection at the rear of the left bay, and the far end of the rear wing has 19th and 20th-century extensions made of flint and brick, with some parts rendered and colourwashed. Inside, the farmhouse features re-used stop-chamfered spine beams.
