Description
Guelder Barn is a house dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the late 18th to 19th centuries. The rear wall features a timber frame with brick infill exposed in the center. The front has been rebuilt using flint and brick, with a whitewashed rendered plinth. The building has an old tile roof and brick chimneys located at the original gables and between the right bays. It stands two storeys high and consists of three bays. The windows are 20th-century casements with leaded glazing, mostly arranged as three-light units, though there is a two-light window to the left of the right bay and an old single light window below the eaves in line with the chimney. A 20th-century panelled door is situated between the left bays. The later bay to the left is constructed of brick with some timber framing. There are lean-to extensions at the rear, which include catslide attic dormers.
