Description
Garden Cottage is an 18th-century building that has been altered and added to over time. It features a timber-framed structure with brick elements and an old tile roof that has a dentilled eaves cornice. The cottage is two storeys tall and consists of five bays, with a door located beneath a restored flat hood supported by brackets. All the windows are 2-light casements, with the first-floor windows being square in shape. On the left side of the building, some exposed timber-framing is visible. To the right, there is a single-storey addition that includes a board door and 2-light square casement windows. At the back of this addition, there is an approximately L-shaped range of outbuildings dating from around 1920, which includes a stable with a hayloft above that has now been converted into a garage.
