Description

Fulmer Place is a mid-19th century house built in an Italianate style. The exterior is cement rendered and colour-washed, with a hipped slate roof featuring a heavy corbelled cornice. Coloured tiles are set between the corbels. The house is three storeys high and has three bays. The outer bays project forward in a bow over two storeys, while the central bay is narrower and has a projecting closed porch with banded rustication. The ground floor is rusticated, with two tall windows on either side of the porch. The first floor has two large four-light sash windows, with the lights divided by slender columns with moulded capitals bearing bracketed cornices. Between these windows is a single window with a bracketed cornice. The second floor has five arched sash windows arranged in a 2x1x2 rhythm, all with eared frames.
