Description

Old Hay Cottage is an 18th-century building that has been altered over time. It features a timber-framed structure with colour-washed brick and an old tile roof that has barge-boarded eaves. On the ground floor, there is a three-light window, a modern porch, and a canted bay window. The first floor has a central window flanked by two three-light windows, all of which have metal casements. To the right of the main structure is an early 19th-century gabled wing, which is rendered and has a tile roof. Both the ground and first floors of this wing each contain a single two-light casement window under hood moulds.
