Description

Alderbourne Cottage is an early 19th-century cottage ornee located on Fulmer Lane in Fulmer. The exterior features pebbledash and a thatched roof that overhangs to create an open veranda supported by rustic posts. The front facade has a central concavity, which, along with the roof's shape, creates a circular floor area underneath. The roadside elevation includes a porch with a timber-framed gable and a central chimney. The windows are fitted with leaded lights. This cottage served as a lodge to Alderbourne Manor.
