Description
The Chalet is an early 19th century cottage ornee in appearance, though it may be older in origin. The building is pebbledashed with a tiled roof and consists of one storey plus an attic. It has three bays, with the left bay set back slightly and angled compared to the rest of the facade. There is a simple panelled door located beneath a bargeboarded and tiled porch. The windows are either two or three lights, all featuring leaded glazing, with some positioned beneath tiled canopies and accompanied by bargeboards. Bargeboards are also present at the eaves level. The roof includes three tiled and gabled dormer windows, all with leaded glazing and bargeboards.
Inside, the hall features Minton tiles, and there are late 19th century stained glass windows.
