Description

Moseley Boys Grammar School was built between 1855 and 1856 as the Spring Hill Congregational College, designed by Joseph James in an ambitious Decorated style. The college features a layout that includes a hall, library, and cloister, with a main range that has an axial tower and corner turrets. It is constructed of red brick, adorned with lavishly executed stone dressings and detailing. The building showcases traceried mullioned windows, ballflower ornament, crocketed finials, and gables trimmed with crockets.
