Description
This is a cottage ornee built in the early 19th century, located south of Heath Stables on Newmarket Road in Stetchworth. The cottage is constructed of painted brick and features a half hipped thatched roof with a central square ridge stack. It has one storey and an attic, with the roof projecting over the chamfered corners and south elevation to create an open rustic verandah. The front façade includes a central door and two three-light windows, which have flat-headed arches and drip moulding. At the top, there is a dormer window with three lancet lights. Additionally, there is a rear wing covered with a slate roof.
