Description
Heusden Cottage, built around 1860, is similar in style to and associated with St Hubert's House on St Hubert's Lane. The cottage is constructed of stock brick with stone dressings featuring recessed jointing, and it has a slate roof adorned with decorative ridge tiles. The building has a square plan and includes a square castellated turret at one corner. A decorative brick stringcourse runs along the springing of the first-floor windows and at the first-floor level. The cottage is two storeys high, with first-floor windows that have semicircular tops. The ground floor features a modern porch, two small windows on the turret side, and a three-light bay window on the entrance front.
