Description
Green End Farmhouse is a house that features a central gabled wing built in the mid 18th century, with an extension to the left dated 1797 and a late 19th-century extension to the right. The building is constructed of chequer and red brick, topped with old tile roofs and brick chimneys. It has a T-plan layout and stands two storeys tall.
The central wing projects forward and includes a moulded plinth, a plain band course, and windows with chequered segmental heads. The wooden casements have 20th-century glazing, with two-light windows on the ground floor and three-light windows on the first floor, as well as a blocked opening leading to the cellar. The 1797 wing to the left features moulded brick eaves and consists of two bays, with three-light leaded casements on both the first and ground floors on the left side. There is a slightly recessed door to the right.
The right-hand wing has a cogged brick string course and one bay of three-light leaded casements with segmental heads on the left side. It also includes an external chimney on the right and a canted bay window at the right gable. The main entry to the house is located at the rear.
