Description
Knoll Cottage is a Grade II listed building, originally part of a terrace of three cottages, believed to date from the 18th century, specifically around 1736. The structure is constructed from rubblestone, which is colourwashed and rendered, and features old tile roofs. It stands at 1½ storeys high and has three irregular bays, each of which was originally a separate cottage.
On the left side, there is an archway that leads to a passage at the rear, followed by a door. The windows consist of three-light casements, with doors located between the right-hand bays. The building has five hipped dormers, with three-light casements on the ground floor and above the left-hand door and archway, while two-light casements are positioned over the right-hand doors. There is a party stack located between the left-hand bays and another at the right gable.
