Description

Vine Farmhouse is a house dating from the 17th and 18th centuries, originally in an L-shape, with a front wing rebuilt in the 19th century and extended to the left, creating a T-shaped plan. The central range has a timber frame with brick infill to the rear. The front of the house consists of two bays of white brick to the right and one bay of red brick to the left, with a rendered wall on the right side. It has a hipped roof covered in old tiles, and 18th-century brick chimneys are located between the right bays; a rendered chimney is between the left bays. The house is two storeys high. It features paired wooden casement windows with cambered and segmental heads, with a small single-light window on the first floor between the left bays. A 20th-century gabled porch sits between the right bays, and a door has been blocked on the left side.
