Description

Hi-da-way is a 17th-century house that was altered in the 20th century. It features a timber frame with 20th-century brick infill, and the ground floor has likely been rebuilt and covered with whitewashed render. The right gable has also been rebuilt with planking. The house has a tiled roof and an off-centre brick chimney that was rebuilt in the 20th century. It is two storeys tall with an attic and has three bays. The windows are 20th-century barred wooden casements. There is a wide 20th-century brick porch with a hipped tile roof and a glazed door in the centre. Inside, the house has substantial spine beams and joists.
