Description

This milestone, located to the north of Mill Lane opposite Misbourne House, dates back to 1750. The stone features a shallow pyramid top and has been turned around and recut in the 19th century. On the west side, it is inscribed with "XXIV Miles from London, 1750," while the east face reads "London 23, Chalfont Parish."
