Description

No. 9 Well Street is a house from the early 19th century that has been altered in the 20th century. It is rendered, likely over brick, and features incised masonry patterns with a slate roof. The building has a double-depth plan. There is a 20th-century door on the left, framed by a thin pegged wood surround. To the right on the ground floor, there is a 20-pane sash window. On the first floor, there is a blank window to the left above the door, a 12-pane sash window to the right, and a 9-pane sash window on the second floor. The house also has a rendered plinth and a band at the first-floor level.
