Description

Nos 1 and 2 Britwell Gardens, formerly known as Cross's Farm, is a 17th-century building constructed with a timber frame and brick nogging. It was refronted in the 18th century using red and blue bricks and features a handmade tile roof. The structure has one storey plus an attic, with a two-storey gable at the eastern end. There are two dormers integrated into the roof. The ground floor includes two doors and three sash windows, all beneath cambered arches. A modillion cornice adds detail to the eaves, and there are chimney stacks located at both the east and west ends of the building.
