Description
Saint Anne's Cottage is a picturesque cottage built around 1900, constructed of red brick and featuring half-timbering. It has a hipped plain tile roof with two small wooden louvres on the ridge. The cottage is one storey with an attic, featuring two dormers on the east side and a large dormer gable on the south end, which includes a leaded Venetian type window and half-timbering in the gable. The roof is supported by broad brackets all around.
On the northeast corner, there is a projecting wing with half-timbering in the gable. The ground floor on the east side has a door flanked by two-light leaded windows, all of which have moulded wood heads. The windows also have moulded sills, and there is a similar window on the projecting wing. This cottage served as an estate cottage for Britwell House and is part of a group that includes St Anselm and the Clock Tower and Garden Wall at Saint Anselm.
